അവൻ തന്റെ തലമുടി ആണ്ടുതോറും കത്രിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; അതു തനിക്കു ഭാരമായിരിക്കയാൽ അത്രേ കത്രിപ്പിച്ചതു; അവന്റെ തലമുടി കത്രിച്ചാൽ രാജതൂക്കത്തിന്നു ഇരുനൂറു ശേക്കെൽ കാണും.

at every year's יָמִ֤ים׀ yôm yome
לַיָּמִים֙ yôm yome
that אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
he polled יְגַלֵּ֔חַ gālaḥ ɡa-LAHK
because כִּֽי kî kee
was heavy כָבֵ֥ד kābad ka-VAHD
on עָלָ֖יו ʿal al
him, therefore he polled וְגִלְּח֑וֹ gālaḥ ɡa-LAHK
it:) he weighed וְשָׁקַל֙ šāqal sha-KAHL
אֶת ʾēt ate
the hair שְׂעַ֣ר śēʿār say-AR
of his head רֹאשׁ֔וֹ rōš rohsh
at two hundred מָאתַ֥יִם mēʾâ may-AH
shekels שְׁקָלִ֖ים šeqel sheh-KEL
weight. בְּאֶ֥בֶן ʾeben eh-VEN
after the king's הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ melek meh-LEK
