ആകയാൽ അബ്ശാലോം യോവാബിനെ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ വിളിപ്പാൻ ആളയച്ചു. എന്നാൽ അവൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നില്ല. രണ്ടാമതു പറഞ്ഞയച്ചിട്ടും അവൻ ചെന്നില്ല.
