Exodus 16:31
യിസ്രായേല്യർ ആ സാധനത്തിന്നു മന്നാ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു; അതു കൊത്തമ്പാലരിപോലെയും വെള്ളനിറമുള്ളതും തേൻ കൂട്ടിയ ദോശയോടൊത്ത രുചിയുള്ളതും ആയിരുന്നു.

| seed, | גַּד֙ | gad | ɡahd |
| white; | לָבָ֔ן | lābān | la-VAHN |
| and the taste | וְטַעְמ֖וֹ | wĕṭaʿmô | veh-ta-MOH |
| wafers like was it of | כְּצַפִּיחִ֥ת | kĕṣappîḥit | keh-tsa-pee-HEET |
| made with honey. | בִּדְבָֽשׁ׃ | bidbāš | beed-VAHSH |
