Exodus 6:1
യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: ഞാൻ ഫറവോനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നതു നീ ഇപ്പോൾ കാണും: ശക്തിയുള്ള കൈ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവൻ അവരെ വിട്ടയക്കും; ശക്തിയുള്ള കൈ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവരെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഓടിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
0 A Song of degrees.
1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

| what | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I will do | אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה | ʾeʿĕśe | eh-ay-SEH |
| to Pharaoh: | לְפַרְעֹ֑ה | lĕparʿō | leh-fahr-OH |
| for | כִּ֣י | kî | kee |
| strong a with | בְיָ֤ד | bĕyād | veh-YAHD |
| hand | חֲזָקָה֙ | ḥăzāqāh | huh-za-KA |
| shall he let them go, | יְשַׁלְּחֵ֔ם | yĕšallĕḥēm | yeh-sha-leh-HAME |
| strong a with and | וּבְיָ֣ד | ûbĕyād | oo-veh-YAHD |
| hand | חֲזָקָ֔ה | ḥăzāqâ | huh-za-KA |
| out them drive he shall | יְגָֽרְשֵׁ֖ם | yĕgārĕšēm | yeh-ɡa-reh-SHAME |
