Jeremiah 14:12
അവർ ഉപവസിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേൾക്കയില്ല; അവർ ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും അർപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവയിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ അവരെ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും മുടിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

| and an oblation, | וּמִנְחָ֖ה | ûminḥâ | oo-meen-HA |
| not will I | אֵינֶ֣נִּי | ʾênennî | ay-NEH-nee |
| accept | רֹצָ֑ם | rōṣām | roh-TSAHM |
| them: but | כִּ֗י | kî | kee |
| I | בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ | baḥereb | ba-HEH-REV |
| will consume | וּבָרָעָ֣ב | ûbārāʿāb | oo-va-ra-AV |
| sword, the by them | וּבַדֶּ֔בֶר | ûbaddeber | oo-va-DEH-ver |
| famine, the by and | אָנֹכִ֖י | ʾānōkî | ah-noh-HEE |
| and by the pestilence. | מְכַלֶּ֥ה | mĕkalle | meh-ha-LEH |
