Judges 11:8
ഗിലെയാദിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ യിഫ്താഹിനോടു: നീ ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വന്നു അമ്മോന്യരോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്കയും ഗിലെയാദിലെ സകല നിവാസികൾക്കും തലവനായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇങ്ങോട്ടു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

| to | שַׁ֣בְנוּ | šabnû | SHAHV-noo |
| thee now, | אֵלֶ֔יךָ | ʾēlêkā | ay-LAY-ha |
| that thou mayest go | וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֣ | wĕhālaktā | veh-ha-lahk-TA |
| with | עִמָּ֔נוּ | ʿimmānû | ee-MA-noo |
| us, and fight | וְנִלְחַמְתָּ֖ | wĕnilḥamtā | veh-neel-hahm-TA |
| against the children | בִּבְנֵ֣י | bibnê | beev-NAY |
| of Ammon, | עַמּ֑וֹן | ʿammôn | AH-mone |
| be and | וְהָיִ֤יתָ | wĕhāyîtā | veh-ha-YEE-ta |
| our head | לָּ֙נוּ֙ | lānû | LA-NOO |
| over all | לְרֹ֔אשׁ | lĕrōš | leh-ROHSH |
| the inhabitants | לְכֹ֖ל | lĕkōl | leh-HOLE |
