ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു നദിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തിന്മീതെ നില്ക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ വലങ്കയ്യും ഇടങ്കയ്യും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തേക്കുയർത്തി: എന്നേക്കും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനാണ, ഇനി കാലവും കാലങ്ങളും കാലാർദ്ധവും ചെല്ലും; അവർ വിശുദ്ധജനത്തിന്റെ ബലത്തെ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും നിവൃത്തിയാകും എന്നിങ്ങനെ സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

אֶת ʾēt ate
the man הָאִ֣ישׁ׀ ʾîš eesh
clothed לְב֣וּשׁ lābaš la-VAHSH
in linen, הַבַּדִּ֗ים bad bahd
which אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
upon מִמַּעַל֮ maʿal ma-AL
the waters לְמֵימֵ֣י mayim ma-YEEM
of the river, הַיְאֹר֒ yĕʾōr yeh-ORE
when he held up וַיָּ֨רֶם rûm room
his right hand יְמִינ֤וֹ yāmîn ya-MEEN
and his left hand וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ֙ śĕmōwl seh-MOVE-L
unto אֶל ʾēl ale
heaven, הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם šāmayim sha-ma-YEEM
and sware וַיִּשָּׁבַ֖ע šābaʿ sha-VA
by him that liveth בְּחֵ֣י ḥay hai
for ever הָעוֹלָ֑ם ʿôlām oh-LAHM
that כִּי֩ kî kee
for a time, לְמוֹעֵ֨ד môʿēd moh-ADE
times, מֽוֹעֲדִ֜ים môʿēd moh-ADE
and an half; וָחֵ֗צִי ḥēṣî hay-TSEE
and when he shall have accomplished וּכְכַלּ֛וֹת kālâ ka-LA
to scatter נַפֵּ֥ץ nāpaṣ na-FAHTS
the power יַד yād yahd
people, עַם ʿam am
of the holy קֹ֖דֶשׁ qōdeš koh-DESH
shall be finished. תִּכְלֶ֥ינָה kālâ ka-LA
all כָל kōl kole
these אֵֽלֶּה׃ ʾēlle ay-LEH
