നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞശേഷം: എന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം ഈ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ യഹോവ എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു എന്നു നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയരുതു; ആ ജാതിയുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തമത്രേ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്നതു.
