ഇങ്ങനെ ബാബേൽ ആണ്ടുപോകും; ഞാൻ അതിന്നു വരുത്തുന്ന അനർത്ഥത്തിൽനിന്നു അതു പൊങ്ങിവരികയില്ല; അവർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും എന്നു പറയേണം. ഇത്രത്തോളം യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ.
