இப்படியே பாபிலோன் முழுகிப் போகும், நான் அதின்மேல் வரப்பண்ணும் தீங்கினால் எழுந்திருக்கமாட்டாமல் இளைத்து விழுவார்கள் என்றார் என்று சொல்லுவாயாக என்றான். எரேமியாவின் வசனங்கள் இவ்வளவோடே முடிந்தது.

Thus כָּ֠כָה kākâ ka-HA
sink, תִּשְׁקַ֨ע šāqaʿ sha-KA
shall Babylon בָּבֶ֤ל bābel ba-VEL
and shall not וְלֹֽא lōʾ loh
rise תָקוּם֙ qûm koom
from מִפְּנֵ֣י pānîm pa-NEEM
the evil הָרָעָ֗ה raʿ ra
that אֲשֶׁ֧ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
I אָנֹכִ֛י ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
will bring מֵבִ֥יא bôʾ boh
upon עָלֶ֖יהָ ʿal al
her: and they shall be weary. וְיָעֵ֑פוּ yāʿap ya-AF
Thus עַד ʿad ad
far הֵ֖נָּה hēnnâ hay-NA
