ന്യായാധിപന്മാർ ന്യായപാലനം നടത്തിയ കാലത്തു ഒരിക്കൽ ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടായി; യെഹൂദയിലെ ബേത്ത്ളേഹെമിലുള്ള ഒരു ആൾ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയും രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാരുമായി മോവാബ്ദേശത്ത് പരദേശിയായി പാർപ്പാൻ പോയി.
