Ruth 2:3
അങ്ങനെ അവൾ പോയി; വയലിൽ കൊയ്ത്തുകാരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു പെറുക്കി; ഭാഗ്യവശാൽ അവൾ എലീമേലെക്കിന്റെ കുടുംബക്കാരനായ ബോവസിന്നുള്ള വയലിൽ ആയിരുന്നു ചെന്നതു.

| after | אַֽחֲרֵ֖י | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY |
| the reapers: | הַקֹּֽצְרִ֑ים | haqqōṣĕrîm | ha-koh-tseh-REEM |
| and her hap | וַיִּ֣קֶר | wayyiqer | va-YEE-ker |
| light to was | מִקְרֶ֔הָ | miqrehā | meek-REH-ha |
| on a part | חֶלְקַ֤ת | ḥelqat | hel-KAHT |
| of the field | הַשָּׂדֶה֙ | haśśādeh | ha-sa-DEH |
| Boaz, unto belonging | לְבֹ֔עַז | lĕbōʿaz | leh-VOH-az |
| who | אֲשֶׁ֖ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| was of the kindred | מִמִּשְׁפַּ֥חַת | mimmišpaḥat | mee-meesh-PA-haht |
| of Elimelech. | אֱלִימֶֽלֶךְ׃ | ʾĕlîmelek | ay-lee-MEH-lek |
