பின்பு கப்பர்நகூமுக்குப் போனார்கள். உடனே அவர் ஓய்வுநாளில் ஜெப ஆலயத்திலே பிரவேசித்து, போதகம் பண்ணினார்.

பின்பு, இயேசு கலிலேயா எங்கும் சுற்றி நடந்து, அவர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் உபதேசித்து, ராஜ்யத்தின் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் Ecclesiastesத்து, ஜனங்களுக்கு உண்டாயிருந்த சகல வியாதிகளையும் சகல நோய்களையும் நீக்கிச் சொஸ்தமாக்கினார்.

கலிலேயா நாடெங்கும் அவர்களுடைய ஜெபஆலயங்களில் அவர் பிரசங்கம் பண்ணிக்கொண்டும், பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்திக்கொண்டும் இருந்தார்.

ஓய்வுநாளானபோது, ஜெபஆலயத்தில் உபதேசம்பண்ணத்தொடங்கினார். அநேகர் கேட்டு, ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, இவைகள் இவனுக்கு எங்கே இருந்து வந்தது? இவன் கைகளினால் இப்படிபட்ட பலத்த செய்கைகள் நடக்கும்படி இவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஞானம் எப்படிப்பட்டது?

சிலநாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு அவர் மறுபடியும் கப்பர்நகூமுக்குப் போனார்; அவர் வீட்டிலிருக்கிறார் என்று ஜனங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டு;

அவர் அவ்விடம் விட்டெழுந்து, யோர்தானுக்கு அக்கரையிலுள்ள தேசத்தின் வழியாய் யூதேயாவின் எல்லைகளில் வந்தார். ஜனங்கள் மறுபடியும் அவரிடத்தில் கூடிவந்தார்கள். அவர் தம்முடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே அவர்களுக்குப் போதித்தார்.

தான் வளர்ந்த ஊராகிய நாசரேத்துக்கு அவர் வந்து, தம்முடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே ஓய்வுநாளில் ஜெபஆலயத்தில் பிரவேசித்து, வாசிக்க எழுந்து நின்றார்.

பின்பு அவர் கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள கப்பர்நகூம் பட்டணத்துக்கு வந்து, ஓய்வு நாட்களில் ஜனங்களுக்குப் போதகம்பண்ணினார்.

வானபரியந்தம் உயர்த்தப்பட்ட கப்பர்நகூமே, நீ பாதாளபரியந்தம் தாழ்த்தப்படுவாய் என்று சொல்லி,

ஒரு ஓய்வுநாளில் அவர் ஜெபஆலயத்தில் போதகம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.

அவர்கள் பெர்கே பட்டணத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, பிசீதியா நாட்டிலுள்ள அந்தியோகியாவுக்கு வந்து, ஓய்வுநாளிலே ஜெபஆலயத்தில் பிரவேசித்து, உட்கார்ந்தார்கள்.

பவுல் தன் வழக்கத்தின்படியே அவர்களிடத்தில் போய், மூன்று ஓய்வுநாட்களில் வேதவாக்கியங்களின் நியாயங்களை எடுத்து அவர்களுடனே சம்பாஷித்து,
