त्यसपछि परमप्रभुले अब्रामसित कुरा गर्नु भयो। परमेश्वरले भन्नुभयो, “तिमीसँग भएको सम्पत्ति त्यो कमारोले पाउँदैन। तिम्रो आफ्नै छोरो जन्मनेछ। अनि तिम्रो सम्पत्तिको उत्तराधिकारी उही तिम्रो छोरो हुनेछ।”
