अब शापानको छोरो अहीकामले यर्मियालाई सुरक्षा दिए। यसर्थ तिनले तिनलाई मानिसहरूको हातबाट बचाए।

Nevertheless	אַ֗ךְ	ʾak	ak
the hand	יַ֚ד	yad	yahd
of Ahikam	אֲחִיקָ֣ם	ʾăḥîqām	uh-hee-KAHM
the son	בֶּן	ben	ben
Shaphan of	שָׁפָ֔ן	šāpān	sha-FAHN
was	הָיְתָ֖ה	hāytâ	hai-TA
with	אֶֽת	ʾet	et
Jeremiah,	יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ	yirmĕyāhû	yeer-meh-YA-hoo
not should they that	לְבִלְתִּ֛י	lĕbiltî	leh-veel-TEE
give	תֵּת	tēt	tate
him into the hand	אֹת֥וֹ	ʾōtô	oh-TOH
people the of	בְיַד	bĕyad	veh-YAHD
to put him to death.	הָעָ֖ם	hāʿām	ha-AM
	לַהֲמִיתֽוֹ׃	lahămîtô	la-huh-mee-TOH
