Jeremiah 5:1
परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा हिंड। वरिपरि हेर र ती कुराहरूको विषयमा सोच। यसका सार्वजनिक ठाँउहरू खोज। यदि यस्तो मानिस जसले जो इमान्दार छ अनि जसले सत्यको खोजी गर्छ र तिमीले त्यस्तो मानिस भेट्टायौ भने म यरूशलेमलाई माफ गर्नेछु।

| seek and | וּבַקְשׁ֣וּ | ûbaqšû | oo-vahk-SHOO |
| in the broad places | בִרְחוֹבוֹתֶ֔יהָ | birḥôbôtêhā | veer-hoh-voh-TAY-ha |
| if thereof, | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| ye can find | תִּמְצְא֣וּ | timṣĕʾû | teem-tseh-OO |
| man, a | אִ֔ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| if | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| there be | יֵ֛שׁ | yēš | yaysh |
| executeth that any | עֹשֶׂ֥ה | ʿōśe | oh-SEH |
| judgment, | מִשְׁפָּ֖ט | mišpāṭ | meesh-PAHT |
| that seeketh | מְבַקֵּ֣שׁ | mĕbaqqēš | meh-va-KAYSH |
| truth; the | אֱמוּנָ֑ה | ʾĕmûnâ | ay-moo-NA |
| and I will pardon | וְאֶסְלַ֖ח | wĕʾeslaḥ | veh-es-LAHK |
