ସେ କଥା କହୁଥିବା ବେଳେ, ଆଉ ଜଣେ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବହ ଆସିଲା ଏବଂ କହିଲା, ଆକାଶରୁ ବିଜୁଳି ପଡ଼ି ତୁମ୍ଭର ମେଣ୍ଢା ଓ ଛଳେି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୋଡ଼ି ଦଲୋ। ମୁଁ କବଳେ ଏକମାତ୍ର ୟିଏ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଛି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି ବିଷଯ ରେ କହିବା ପାଇଁ।

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

While he זֶ֣ה ze zeh
speaking, מְדַבֵּ֗ר dābar da-VAHR
also another, וְזֶה֮ ze zeh
there came בָּ֣א bôʾ boh
and said, וַיֹּאמַר֒ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
The fire אֵ֣שׁ ʾēš aysh
of God אֱלֹהִ֗ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
is fallen נָֽפְלָה֙ nāpal na-FAHL
from מִן min meen
heaven, הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם šāmayim sha-ma-YEEM
and hath burned up וַתִּבְעַ֥ר bāʿar ba-AR
the sheep, בַּצֹּ֛אן ṣōn tsone
and the servants, וּבַנְּעָרִ֖ים naʿar na-AR
and consumed וַתֹּֽאכְלֵ֑ם ʾākal ah-HAHL
am escaped וָאִמָּ֨לְטָ֧ה mālaṭ ma-LAHT
only רַק raq rahk
them; and I אֲנִ֛י ʾănî uh-NEE
alone לְבַדִּ֖י bad bahd
to tell thee. לְהַגִּ֥יד nāgad na-ɡAHD
לָֽךְ׃
