ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମୁଦ୍ର ରେ ଆକାଶ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ମଧିଅରେ ଦିଗବଳଯ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ଆଲୋକ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ପରସ୍ପର ସହିତ ମିଳିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ବାରିଧିର କମଳ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲ। ପର୍ବତଗଣ ଉପରେ ଜଳରାଶି ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହେଲା।

କାରଣ ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ନୋହଙ୍କ ସମୟର ଜଳ ସଦୃଶ ଅଟେ ; ନୋହଙ୍କ ସମୟର ଜଳ ଆଉ ଯେପରି ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ପ୍ଲାବିତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶପଥ କରିଅଛୁ, ସହେିପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି କୋର୍ଧ କିମ୍ବା ଭର୍ତ୍ସନା କରିବା ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ଶପଥ କରିଅଛୁ।
