କନ୍ତୁ ହୋରୋଣୀଯ ସନ୍ବଲ୍ଲଟ୍ ଓ ଅେମ୍ମାନୀୟ ଟୋବିୟ ଓ ଆରବୀଯ ଗେଶମ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କଲେ ଓ ଘୃଣା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ଏ କି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଅଛ? ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ରାଜଦ୍ରୋହ କରୁଛ?

ସେଥି ରେ ଏହିପରି ଲଖାେ ୟାଇଥିଲା, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଏହି ଜନରବ ହାଇେଅଛି। ମଧ୍ଯ ଗଶୁମୁ ଏହା କହୁଅଛି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ୟିହୁଦୀଯମାନେ ରାଜଦ୍ରୋହ କରିବାକୁ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରୁଅଛ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରୁଅଛ। ଏହି ଜନରବ ଅନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ରାଜା ହବୋକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଅଛ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପରିହାସର ପାତ୍ର କରିଛ। ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖି ହସନ୍ତି ଓ ଥଟ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି।
ନିହିମିୟା 6:1
ଏହାପରେ ସନ୍ବଲ୍ଲଟ୍, ଟୋବିୟ, ଆରବୀଯ ଗେଶମ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶତୃମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଯେ, ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ସାରିଛି। ପ୍ରାଚୀର ରେ ଆଉ ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ନ ଥିଲା, ମାତ୍ର କବାଟସବୁ ଫାଟକରେ ଲାଗି ନାହିଁ।

କେତେ ଲୋକ ହାସ୍ଯର ପାତ୍ର ହେଲେ ଓ କୋରଡ଼ା ଆଘାତ ପାଇଲେ। ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ ବନ୍ଧା ହେଲେ, ଓ ବନ୍ଦୀଘ ରେ ରଖା ଗଲେ।

ଏ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଜଣେ ଗଣ୍ଡଗୋଳକାରୀ। ସେ ସାରା ପୃଥିବୀର ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଛି ଓ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମତାଉଛି। ନାଜରିତୀୟ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟର ଜଣେ ମୁଖ୍ଯ ନେତା।

ଏହାପରେ ପୀଲାତ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ଦବୋକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ଚିତ୍କାର କରି କହିଲେ, ଆପଣ ଯଦି ଏ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରି ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତବେେ ଆପଣ କାଇସରଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଧୁ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି। ୟିଏ ନିଜକୁ ରାଜା ବୋଲି ଦାବୀ କରୁଛି, ସେ କାଇସରଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧୀ।

ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦୋଷ ଦବୋକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପୀଲାତଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହାଙ୍କୁ ଧରିଛୁ। ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଛନ୍ତି ଯେ କାଇସରଙ୍କୁ କର ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ। ସେ ନିଜକୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ, ଜଣେ ରାଜା ବୋଲି କହୁଛି।

ଏହା ଶୁଣି ସବୁ ଲୋକ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଘରର ବାହାରକୁ ପଠଇେ ଦେଲେ। କବଳେ ପିଲାଟିର ବାପା-ମାଆ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆସିଥିବା ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାଙ୍ଗ ରେ ନଇେ ପିଲାଟି ଯେଉଁ କଠାେରୀ ରେ ଥିଲା, ସହେି କଠାେରୀକୁ ଗଲେ।

ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଥର ମୁଁ କଥା କ ହେ ଓ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରେ। ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ଯ ଓ ବିନାଶର କଥା ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବର ରେ କ ହେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ଯ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ହାଇେଅଛି ବୋଲି କହିଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଲୋକେ ପ୍ରତିଥର ମାେତେ ଧିକ୍କାର ଓ ବିଦ୍ରୁପ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀଗଣ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରଇେଲ। ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାସ କଲେ।

ଆମ୍ଭ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ ଦବଗେଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅପମାନିତ କଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭର ସବୁ ଚତୁପାଶର୍ବରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କଲେ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମାେ'ଠାରୁ ବଯସ ରେ ସାନ ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମାେତେ ପରିହାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଆଉ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପିତାଗଣ ଏଭଳି ଅ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ଯେ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମାେ ମେଣ୍ଢା ପଲ କରୁଥିବା କୁକୁରମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରଖାଇବି ନାହିଁ।

ଏହି ଚିନ୍ତାକରି ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୟଭୀତ କଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହସ୍ତ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହବେ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଶଷେ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

ସନ୍ବଲ୍ଲଟ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଶୁଣିଲା ଯେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଗଢା ହାଇଚେି, ସେ ଅତିଶଯ କୋପିତ ହାଇେ ୟିହୁଦୀଯଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କଲା।

ହାରୋଣୀଯ ସନ୍ବଲ୍ଲଟ ଓ ଅେମ୍ମାନୀୟ ଟୋବିୟ ଅଧିକାରୀଗଣ ଅତିଶଯ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହେଲ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଯେ, ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆସିଥିଲେ।

ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପିତୃପୁରୁଷଗଣର ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରାଯାଉ। ତବେେ ସହେି ଇତିହାସ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଆପଣ ଦେଖିବେ ଓ ଜାଣିବେ ଯେ ଏହି ନଗର ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀନଗର, ଆଉ ରାଜଗଣ ଓ ପ୍ରଦେଶ ସମୂହ ପ୍ରତି ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି ସମାନେେ ପୂର୍ବକାଳ ରେ ତହିଁ ମଧିଅରେ ଗଣ୍ତଗୋଳ ମତାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଏହି ନଗର ଧ୍ବଂସ ହାଇେଅଛି।
