הַ֥לְלוּ Praise hālal יָ֨הּ׀ ye the Lord. yāh הַֽלְל֣וּ Praise hālal אֶת ye ʾēt יְ֭הוָה the Lord yĕhōwâ מִן from min הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם the heavens: šāmayim הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ praise hālal בַּמְּרוֹמִֽים׃ him in the heights. mārôm

הַֽלְל֥וּהוּ Praise hālal כָל ye him, all kōl מַלְאָכָ֑יו his angels: mălʾok הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ praise hālal כָּל ye him, all kōl צְבָאָֽו׃ his hosts. ṣābāʾ

הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ Praise hālal שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ ye him, sun šemeš וְיָרֵ֑חַ and moon: yārēaḥ הַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ praise hālal כָּל him, all kōl כּ֥וֹכְבֵי ye stars kôkāb אֽוֹר׃ of light. ʾôr

הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ Praise hālal שְׁמֵ֣י him, ye heavens šāmayim הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם of heavens, šāmayim וְ֝הַמַּ֗יִם and ye waters mayim אֲשֶׁ֤ר׀ that ʾăšer מֵעַ֬ל above ʿal הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ the heavens. šāmayim

יְֽ֭הַֽלְלוּ Let them praise hālal אֶת ʾēt שֵׁ֣ם the name šēm יְהוָ֑ה of the Lord: yĕhōwâ כִּ֤י for kî ה֭וּא he hûʾ צִוָּ֣ה commanded, ṣāwâ וְנִבְרָֽאוּ׃ and they were created. bārāʾ

וַיַּעֲמִידֵ֣ם He hath also stablished ʿāmad לָעַ֣ד them for ever ʿad לְעוֹלָ֑ם and ever: ʿôlām חָק a decree ḥōq נָ֝תַ֗ן he hath made nātan וְלֹ֣א which shall not lōʾ יַעֲבֽוֹר׃ pass. ʿābar

הַֽלְל֣וּ Praise hālal אֶת ʾēt יְ֭הוָה the Lord yĕhōwâ מִן from min הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth, ʾereṣ תַּ֝נִּינִ֗ים ye dragons, tannîn וְכָל and all kōl תְּהֹמֽוֹת׃ deeps: tĕhôm

אֵ֣שׁ Fire, ʾēš וּ֭בָרָד and hail; bārād שֶׁ֣לֶג snow, šeleg וְקִיט֑וֹר and vapour; qîṭôr ר֥וּחַ wind rûaḥ סְ֝עָרָ֗ה stormy saʿar עֹשָׂ֥ה fulfilling ʿāśâ דְבָרֽוֹ׃ his word: dābār

הֶהָרִ֥ים Mountains, har וְכָל and all kōl גְּבָע֑וֹת hills; gibʿâ עֵ֥ץ trees, ʿēṣ פְּ֝רִ֗י fruitful pĕrî וְכָל and all kōl אֲרָזִֽים׃ cedars: ʾerez

הַֽחַיָּ֥ה Beasts, ḥay וְכָל and all kōl בְּהֵמָ֑ה cattle; bĕhēmâ רֶ֝֗מֶשׂ creeping things, remeś וְצִפּ֥וֹר fowl: ṣippôr כָּנָֽף׃ and flying kānāp

מַלְכֵי Kings melek אֶ֭רֶץ of the earth, ʾereṣ וְכָל and all kōl לְאֻמִּ֑ים people; lĕʾōm שָׂ֝רִ֗ים princes, śar וְכָל and all kōl שֹׁ֥פְטֵי judges šāpaṭ אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth: ʾereṣ

בַּחוּרִ֥ים Both young men, bāḥûr וְגַם and gam בְּתוּל֑וֹת maidens; bĕtûlâ זְ֝קֵנִ֗ים old men, zāqēn עִם and ʿim נְעָרִֽים׃ children: naʿar

יְהַלְל֤וּ׀ Let them praise hālal אֶת ʾēt שֵׁ֬ם the name šēm יְהוָ֗ה of the Lord: yĕhōwâ כִּֽי for kî נִשְׂגָּ֣ב is excellent; śāgab שְׁמ֣וֹ his name šēm לְבַדּ֑וֹ alone bad ה֝וֹד֗וֹ his glory hôd עַל above ʿal אֶ֥רֶץ the earth ʾereṣ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃ and heaven. šāmayim

וַיָּ֤רֶם He also exalteth rûm קֶ֨רֶן׀ the horn qeren לְעַמּ֡וֹ of his people, ʿam תְּהִלָּ֤ה the praise tĕhillâ לְֽכָל of all kōl חֲסִידָ֗יו his saints; ḥāsîd לִבְנֵ֣י of the children bēn יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל of Israel, yiśrāʾēl עַ֥ם a people ʿam קְרֹב֗וֹ near qārôb הַֽלְלוּ unto him.
