ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਖੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਰੇਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

“ਸੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ। ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਹਾਂ। ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਮੰਦਰ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ।
1 Chronicles 22:9
ਪਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਅਮਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੌਗਿਰਦੇ ’ਚ ਪਸਰੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਖ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੇ ਅਮਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
Psalm 89:28
ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਮੇਰਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਖਤਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Psalm 132:11
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
