1 Samuel 20:12
ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਇਹ ਸੌਂਹ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਖਬਰ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਉ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਵੇਖਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਮਾੜੇ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ।
