1 Samuel 21:5
ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਈਏ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਮ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਲਈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਹੀ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਹੀ ਬੜਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਹੈ।”
