1 Samuel 5:4
ਪਰ ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਜਦ ਅਸ਼ਦੋਦੀ ਉੱਠੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਾਗੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੂੰਹ ਪਰਨੇ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਪਾਇਆ। ਦਾਗੋਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਅੱਗੇ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਦਾਗੋਨ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਸਿਰ ਡਿੱਗਕੇ ਟੁੱਟਕੇ ਥੜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਿੱਲਰੇ ਪਏ ਸਨ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਸਬੂਤਾ ਸੀ।
