1 Samuel 7:10
ਜਦੋਂ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਰਜਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਗਰਜਿਆ। ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਘਬਰਾ ਗਏ। ਗਰਜਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬੜੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਰਹੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇਉਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Deuteronomy 20:3
ਜਾਜਕ ਆਖੇਗਾ, ‘ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ! ਅੱਜ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਆਪਣਾ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਰਨਾ। ਆਤੰਕਿਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਾ! ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ!
Exodus 9:23
