Esther 2:12
ਹੁਣ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਸ਼ਵੇਰੋਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਉਸ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਨਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਸੀ: ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਮੁਰ ਦੇ ਤੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖਰੇ ਅਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਟਣਿਆਂ ਆਦਿ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
