Exodus 9:16
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਿਖਾ ਸੱਕਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ।

| to shew | הַרְאֹֽתְךָ֣ | harʾōtĕkā | hahr-oh-teh-HA |
thee in | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| my power; | כֹּחִ֑י | kōḥî | koh-HEE |
| and that | וּלְמַ֛עַן | ûlĕmaʿan | oo-leh-MA-an |
| my name | סַפֵּ֥ר | sappēr | sa-PARE |
| declared be may | שְׁמִ֖י | šĕmî | sheh-MEE |
| throughout all | בְּכָל | bĕkāl | beh-HAHL |
| the earth. | הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
