Hosea 7:16
ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੋਟੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਬਦਲੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਾ ਆਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਜੀਭ ਕਾਰਣ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੱਸਣਗੇ।

| sword the by | שָׂרֵיהֶ֖ם | śārêhem | sa-ray-HEM |
| for the rage | מִזַּ֣עַם | mizzaʿam | mee-ZA-am |
| tongue: their of | לְשׁוֹנָ֑ם | lĕšônām | leh-shoh-NAHM |
