Isaiah 31:9
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਠ੍ਠੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।

| for fear, | יַֽעֲב֔וֹר | yaʿăbôr | ya-uh-VORE |
| and his princes | וְחַתּ֥וּ | wĕḥattû | veh-HA-too |
| afraid be shall | מִנֵּ֖ס | minnēs | mee-NASE |
| of the ensign, | שָׂרָ֑יו | śārāyw | sa-RAV |
| saith | נְאֻם | nĕʾum | neh-OOM |
| the Lord, | יְהוָ֗ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| whose | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| fire | א֥וּר | ʾûr | oor |
| is in Zion, | לוֹ֙ | lô | loh |
| and his furnace | בְּצִיּ֔וֹן | bĕṣiyyôn | beh-TSEE-yone |
| in Jerusalem. | וְתַנּ֥וּר | wĕtannûr | veh-TA-noor |
