ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 31:19
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਭਟਕ ਗਿਆ ਸਾਂ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਿਲ ਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਦਲ ਲਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੂਰੱਖਤਾ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਵੇਲੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ।’”
