Proverbs 11:24
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖ ਲੈਦਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਉਸਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

| withholdeth that is there and | וְחֹשֵׂ֥ךְ | wĕḥōśēk | veh-hoh-SAKE |
| meet, is than more | מִ֝יֹּ֗שֶׁר | miyyōšer | MEE-YOH-sher |
| but it tendeth to poverty. | אַךְ | ʾak | ak |
| לְמַחְסֽוֹר׃ | lĕmaḥsôr | leh-mahk-SORE |
