Psalm 20 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. Jehovah doth answer thee, In a day of adversity, The name of the God of Jacob doth set thee on high,ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ: ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇ।

2 He doth send thy help from the sanctuary, And from Zion doth support thee,ਕਾਸ਼ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਦਦ ਭੇਜੇ। ਉਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇ।

3 He doth remember all thy presents, And thy burnt-offering doth reduce to ashes. Selah.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰੇ।

4 He doth give to thee according to thy heart, And all thy counsel doth fulfil.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਵੇ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਬਣਾਵੇ।

5 We sing of thy salvation, And in the name of our God set up a banner. Jehovah doth fulfil all thy requests.ਸਾਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਆਉ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰੀਏ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਮੰਗੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੇ।

6 Now I have known That Jehovah hath saved His anointed, He answereth him from His holy heavens, With the saving might of His right hand.ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਸੁਣੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਰਤੀ।

7 Some of chariots, and some of horses, And we of the name of Jehovah our God Make mention.ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੱਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਦੂਜੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

8 They -- they have bowed and have fallen, And we have risen and station ourselves upright.ਉਹ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ – ਉਹ ਯੁੱਧ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਰ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਜੇਤੂ ਹਾਂ।

9 O Jehovah, save the king, He doth answer us in the day we call!ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਸੁਣੀ ਸੀ।
