அவன் உன் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு ஆறுதல் செய்கிறவனும், உன் முதிர்வயதிலே உன்னை ஆதரிக்கிறவனுமாயிருக்கக்கடவன்; உன்னைச் சிநேகித்து, ஏழு குமாரரைப்பார்க்கிலும் உனக்கு அருமையாயிருக்கிற உன் மருமகள் அவனைப் பெற்றாளே என்றார்கள்.

כִּ֣י

And I	וַֽאֲנִ֨י	waʾănî	va-uh-NEE
thought	אָמַ֜רְתִּי	ʾāmartî	ah-MAHR-tee
to advertise	אֶגְלֶ֧ה	ʾegle	eɡ-LEH
	אָזְנְךָ֣	ʾoznĕkā	oze-neh-HA
thee, saying,	לֵאמֹ֗ר	lēʾmōr	lay-MORE
Buy	קְ֠נֵה	qĕnē	KEH-nay
it before	נֶ֥גֶד	neged	NEH-ɡed
the inhabitants,	הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֮	hayyōšĕbîm	ha-yoh-sheh-VEEM
and before	וְנֶ֣גֶד	wĕneged	veh-NEH-ɡed
the elders	זִקְנֵ֣י	ziqnê	zeek-NAY
of my people.	עַמִּי֒	ʿammiy	ah-MEE
If	אִם	ʾim	eem
thou wilt redeem	תִּגְאַל֙	tigʾal	teeɡ-AL
it, redeem	גְּאָ֔ל	gĕʾāl	ɡeh-AL
it: but if	וְאִם	wĕʾim	veh-EEM
thou wilt not	לֹ֨א	lōʾ	loh
redeem	יִגְאַ֜ל	yigʾal	yeeɡ-AL
it, then tell	הַגִּ֣ידָה	haggîdâ	ha-ɡEE-da
me, that I may know:	לִּ֗י	lî	lee
for	וְאֵֽדְעָ֙	wĕʾēdĕʿā	veh-ay-deh-AH
there is none	כִּ֣י	kî	kee
to redeem	אֵ֤ין	ʾên	ane
it beside	זוּלָֽתְךָ֙	zûlātĕkā	zoo-la-teh-HA
thee; and I	לִגְא֔וֹל	ligʾôl	leeɡ-OLE
am after	וְאָֽנֹכִ֖י	wĕʾānōkî	veh-ah-noh-HEE
thee. And he said,	אַֽחֲרֶ֑יךָ	ʾaḥărêkā	ah-huh-RAY-ha
I	וַיֹּ֖אמֶר	wayyōʾmer	va-YOH-mer
will redeem	אָֽנֹכִ֥י	ʾānōkî	ah-noh-HEE
it.	אֶגְאָֽל׃	ʾegʾāl	eɡ-AL
