ధర్మశాస్త్రము రాబోవుచున్న మేలుల ఛాయగలదియే గాని ఆ వస్తువుల నిజస్వరూపము గలదికాదు గనుక ఆ యాజకులు ఏటేట ఎడతెగకుండ అర్పించు ఒక్కటే విధమైన బలులు వాటిని తెచ్చువారికి ఎన్నడును సంపూర్ణసిద్ధి కలుగజేయ నేరవు.
