ఆయన ఐగుప్తు దేశసంచారము చేసినప్పుడు యోసేపు సంతతికి సాక్ష్యముగా దానిని నియమించెను. అక్కడ నేనెరుగని భాష వింటిని.

This he ordained	עֵ֤דוּת׀	ʿēdût	A-doot
in Joseph	בִּֽיה֘וֹסֵ֤ף	bîhôsēp	bee-HOH-SAFE
testimony, a for	שָׂמ֗וֹ	śāmô	sa-MOH
when he went out	בְּ֭צֵאתוֹ	bĕṣēʾtô	BEH-tsay-toh
through	עַל	ʿal	al
land the	אֶ֣רֶץ	ʾereṣ	EH-rets
of Egypt:	מִצְרָ֑יִם	miṣrāyim	meets-RA-yeem
where I heard	שְׂפַ֖ת	śĕpat	seh-FAHT
language a	לֹא	lōʾ	loh
that I understood	יָדַ֣עְתִּי	yādaʿtî	ya-DA-tee
not.	אֶשְׁמָֽע׃	ʾešmāʿ	esh-MA
