பேதுரு அவளை நோக்கி: நிலத்தை இவ்வளவுக்குத்தானா விற்றீர்கள், எனக்குச் சொல் என்றான். அவள்: ஆம், இவ்வளவுக்குத்தான் என்றாள்.
