যীশু ঘুরে দাঁড়ালেন আর তাকে দেখতে পেয়ে বললেন, ‘বাছা, তুমি মনে সাহস রাখো, তোমার বিশ্বাসই তোমায় সুস্থ করল৷’ তখন থেকে স্ত্রীলোকটি সম্পূর্ণ সুস্থ হয়ে গেল৷

তখন যীশু তাকে বললেন, ‘যাও, তোমার বিশ্বাসই তোমায় সুস্থ করল৷’ সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সে দৃষ্টিশক্তি ফিরে পেল এবং রাস্তা দিয়ে যীশুর পেছন পেছন চলতে লাগল৷

এভাবে সে অনেকদিন ধরে বলতে লাগল৷ শেষে পৌল এতে বিরক্ত হয়ে ঘুরে দাঁড়িয়ে সেই আত্মাকে বললেন ‘যীশু খ্রীষ্টের নামে আমি তোকে আদেশ করছি য়ে তুই এর থেকে বেরিয়ে যা৷’ তাতে সেই মন্দ আত্মা সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বের হয়ে গেল৷

সেই লোকটি বসে বসে পৌলের কথা শুনছিল৷ পৌল তার দিকে চেয়ে দেখলেন সুস্থ হবার জন্য লোকটির ঈশ্বরের প্রতি বিশ্বাস আছে৷
