1 சாலொமோன் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திற்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தையும், தன் ராஜரிகத்திற்கு ஒரு அரமனையையும் கட்ட நிர்ணயம்பண்ணி, And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.

2 சுமைசுமக்கிறதற்கு எழுபதினாயிரம்பேரையும், மலையில் மரம் வெட்டுகிறதற்கு எண்பதினாயிரம்பேரையும், இவர்கள்மேல் தலைவராக மூவாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேரையும் எண்ணி ஏற்படுத்தினான். And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.

3 தீருவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஈராமிடத்தில் ஆள் அனுப்பி: என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது தாம் வாசமாயிருக்கும் அரமனையைத் தமக்குக் கட்டும்படிக்கு, நீர் அவருக்குத் தயவுசெய்து, அவருக்குக் கேதுருமரங்களை அனுப்பினதுபோல எனக்கும் தயவுசெய்யும். And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.

4 இதோ, என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குமுன்பாகச் சுகந்தவர்க்கங்களின் தூபம்காட்டுகிறதற்கும், சமுகத்தப்பங்களை எப்போதும் வைக்கிறதற்கும், காலையிலும் மாலையிலும், ஓய்வுநாட்களிலும், மாதப்பிறப்புகளிலும், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் பண்டிகைகளிலும், இஸ்ரவேல் நித்தியகாலமாகச் செலுத்தவேண்டியபடி சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்துகிறதற்கும், அவருடைய நாமத்திற்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி அதை அவருக்குப் பிரதிஷ்டைபண்ணும்படி நான் எத்தனித்திருக்கிறேன். Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

5 எங்கள் தேவன் எல்லா தேவர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் பெரியவர்; ஆகையால் நான் கட்டப்போகிற ஆலயம் பெரியதாயிருக்கும். And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

6 வானங்களும் வானாதிவானங்களும் அவரைக் கொள்ளக் கூடாதிருக்க, அவருக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்ட வல்லவன் யார்? அவர் சந்நிதியில் தூபங்காட்டுகிறதற்கேஒழிய வேறே முகாந்தரமாய் அவருக்கு ஆலயம்கட்டுகிறதற்கு நான் எம்மாத்திரம்? But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

7 இப்போதும் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது குறித்தவர்களும், என்னிடத்தில் யூதாவிலும் எருசலேமிலும் இருக்கிறவர்களுமாகிய நிபுணரோடு, பொன்னிலும் வெள்ளியிலும் வெண்கலத்திலும் இரும்பிலும் ரத்தாம்பரநூலிலும் சிவப்புநூலிலும் இளநீலநூலிலும் வேலைசெய்ய நிபுணனும், கொத்துவேலைசெய்ய அறிந்தவனுமாகிய ஒரு மனுஷனை என்னிடத்தில் அனுப்பும். Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

8 லீபனோனிலிருந்து கேதுருமரங்களையும், தேவதாரி விருட்சங்களையும், வாசனைமரங்களையும் எனக்கு அனுப்பும்; லீபனோனின் மரங்களை வெட்ட உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரர் பழகினவர்களென்று அறிவேன்; எனக்கு மரங்களைத் திரளாக ஆயத்தப்படுத்த என் வேலைக்காரர் உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரரோடுங்கூட இருப்பார்கள். Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,

9 நான் கட்டப்போகிற ஆலயம் பெரியதும் ஆச்சரியப்படத்தக்கதுமாயிருக்கும். Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

10 அந்த மரங்களை வெட்டுகிற உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரருக்கு இருபதினாயிரம் மரக்கால் கோதுமை அரிசியையும், இருபதினாயிரம் மரக்கால் வாற்கோதுமையையும், இருபதினாயிரம் குடம் திராட்சரசத்தையும், இருபதினாயிரம் குடம் எண்ணெயையும் கொடுப்பேன் என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினான். And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.

11 அப்பொழுது தீருவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஈராம் சாலொமோனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தைச் சிநேகித்ததினால், உம்மை அவர்கள்மேல் ராஜாவாக வைத்தார். Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.

12 கர்த்தருக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தையும், தமது ராஜரிகத்திற்கு ஒரு அரமனையையும் கட்டத்தக்க யுக்தியும் புத்தியுமுடைய ஞானமுள்ள குமாரனை, தாவீதுராஜாவுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டவராகிய வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கின இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக. Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.

13 இப்போதும் ஈராம் அபியென்னும் புத்திமானாகிய நிபுணனை அனுப்புகிறேன். And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father's,

14 அவன் தாணின் குமாரத்திகளில் ஒரு ஸ்திரீயின் குமாரன்; அவன் தகப்பன் தீரு தேசத்தான்; அவன் பொன்னிலும, வெள்ளியிலும், வெண்கலத்திலும், இரும்பிலும், கற்களிலும், மரங்களிலும், இரத்தாம்பரநூலிலும் இளநீலநூலிலும் மெல்லியநூலிலும் சிவப்புநூலிலும் வேலைசெய்யவும், சகலவிதக் கொத்துவேலை செய்யவும், என்னென்ன செய்யவேண்டுமென்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லப்படுமோ, அவைகளையெல்லாம் உம்மிடத்திலுள்ள நிபுணரோடும், உம்முடைய தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது என்னும் என் ஆண்டவனின் நிபுணரோடுங்கூட யூகித்துச் செய்யவும் அறிந்தவன். The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skillful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.

15 என் ஆண்டவன் தாம் சொன்னபடி கோதுமையையும், வாற்கோதுமையையும், எண்ணெயையும், திராட்சரசத்தையும் தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரருக்கு அனுப்புவாராக. Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:

16 நாங்கள் உமக்குத் தேவையான மரங்களையெல்லாம் லீபனோனிலே வெட்டி, அவைகளைத் தெப்பங்களாய்க் கட்டி கடல்வழியாய் யோப்பாமட்டும் கொண்டுவருவோம்; பிற்பாடு நீர் அவைகளை எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுபோகலாம் என்று எழுதி அனுப்பினான். And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.

17 தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலுண்டான மறுஜாதியாரையெல்லாம் எண்ணித் தொகையிட்டதுபோல, சாலொமோனும் அவர்களை எண்ணினான்; அவர்கள் லட்சத்து ஐம்பத்துமூவாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேராயிருந்தார்கள். And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.

And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.

1 Saalomon karththarutaiya naamaththirku oru aalayaththaiyum, than raajarikaththirku oru aramanaiyaiyum katta nirnayampannnni, And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.

2 Sumaisumakkiratharku elupathinaayirampaeraiyum, malaiyil maram vettukiratharku ennpathinaayirampaeraiyum, ivarkalmael thalaivaraaka moovaayiraththu araுnooraுpaeraiyum ennnni aerpaduththinaan. And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.

3 Theeruvin raajaavaakiya eeraamidaththil aal anuppi: en thakappanaakiya David thaam vaasamaayirukkum aramanaiyaith thamakkuk kattumpatikku, neer avarukkuth thayavuseythu, avarukkuk kaethurumarangalai anuppinathupola enakkum thayavuseyyum. And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.

4 Itho, en thaevanaakiya karththarukkumunpaakach sukanthavarkkangalin thoopamkaattukiratharkum, samukaththappangalai eppothum vaikkiratharkum, kaalaiyilum maalaiyilum, oyvunaatkalilum, maathappirappukalilum, engal thaevanaakiya karththarin panntikaikalilum, Israel niththiyakaalamaakach seluththavaenntiyapati sarvaanga thakanapalikalaich seluththukiratharkum, avarutaiya naamaththirku oru aalayaththaik katti athai avarukkup pirathishtaipannnumpati naan eththaniththirukkiraேn. Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

5 Engal Dhevan ellaa thaevarkalaippaarkkilum periyavar; aakaiyaal naan kattappokira aalayam periyathaayirukkum. And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

6 Vaanangalum vaanaathivaanangalum avaraik kollak koodaathirukka, avarukku oru aalayaththaik katta vallavan yaar? Avar sannithiyil thoopangaattukiratharkaeoliya vaeraே mukaantharamaay avarukku aalayamkattukiratharku naan emmaaththiram? But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

7 Ippothum en thakappanaakiya David kuriththavarkalum, ennidaththil yoothaavilum erusalaemilum irukkiravarkalumaakiya nipunarodu, ponnilum velliyilum vennkalaththilum irumpilum raththaamparanoolilum sivappunoolilum ilaneelanoolilum vaelaiseyya nipunanum, koththuvaelaiseyya arinthavanumaakiya oru manushanai ennidaththil anuppum. Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

8 Leepanonilirunthu kaethurumarangalaiyum, thaevathaari virutchangalaiyum, vaasanaimarangalaiyum enakku anuppum; leepanonin marangalai vetta ummutaiya vaelaikkaarar palakinavarkalentu arivaen; enakku marangalaith thiralaaka aayaththappaduththa en vaelaikkaarar ummutaiya vaelaikkaararodungaூda iruppaarkal. Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,

9 Naan kattappokira aalayam periyathum aachchariyappadaththakkathumaayirukkum. Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

10 Antha marangalai vettukira ummutaiya vaelaikkaararukku irupathinaayiram marakkaal kothumai arisiyaiyum, irupathinaayiram marakkaal vaarkothumaiyaiyum, irupathinaayiram kudam thiraatcharasaththaiyum, irupathinaayiram kudam ennnneyaiyum koduppaen entu solli anuppinaan. And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.

11 Appoluthu theeruvin raajaavaakiya eeraam saalomonukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: Karththar thammutaiya janaththaich sinaekiththathinaal, ummai avarkalmael raajaavaaka vaiththaar. Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.

12 Karththarukku oru aalayaththaiyum, thamathu raajarikaththirku oru aramanaiyaiyum kattaththakka yukthiyum puththiyumutaiya njaanamulla kumaaranai, Davidraajaavukkuk kattalaiyittavaraakiya vaanaththaiyum poomiyaiyum unndaakkina isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththarukku sthoththiramunndaavathaaka. Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.

13 Ippothum eeraam apiyennum puththimaanaakiya nipunanai anuppukiraேn. And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father's,

14 Avan thaannin kumaaraththikalil oru sthireeyin kumaaran; avan thakappan theeru thaesaththaan; avan ponniluma, velliyilum, vennkalaththilum, irumpilum, karkalilum, marangalilum, iraththaamparanoolilum ilaneelanoolilum melliyanoolilum sivappunoolilum vaelaiseyyavum, sakalavithak koththuvaelai seyyavum, ennenna seyyavaenndumentu avanukkuch sollappadumo, avaikalaiyellaam ummidaththilulla nipunarodum, ummutaiya thakappanaakiya David ennum en aanndavanin nipunarodungaூda yookiththuch seyyavum arinthavan. 15 En aanndavan thaam sonnapati kothumaiyaiyum, vaarkothumaiyaiyum, ennnneyaiyum, thiraatcharasaththaiyum thammutaiya ooliyakkaararukku anuppuvaaraaka. Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:

16 Naangal umakkuth thaevaiyaana marangalaiyellaam leepanonilae vetti, avaikalaith theppangalaayk katti kadalvaliyaay yoppaamattum konnduvaruvom; pirpaadu neer avaikalai erusalaemukkuk konndupokalaam entu eluthi anuppinaan. And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.

17 Than thakappanaakiya David Israel thaesaththilunndaana maraுjaathiyaaraiyellaam ennnnith thokaiyittathupola, saalomonum avarkalai ennnninaan; avarkal latchaththu aimpaththumoovaayiraththu araுnooraுpaeraayirunthaarkal. And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.

18 Ivarkalil avan elupathinaayirampaeraich sumaisumakkavum, ennpathinaayirampaerai malaiyil maramvettavum, moovaayiraththu araுnooraுpaerai janaththinvaelaiyai visaarikkum thalaivaraayirukkavum vaiththaan. And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.
