1 மனாசே ராஜாவாகிறபோது பன்னிரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, ஐம்பத்தைந்து வருஷம் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டான்; அவன் தாயின்பேர் எப்சிபாள். Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.

2 கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தின ஜாதிகளுடைய அருவருப்புகளின்படியே, அவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

4 எருசலேமிலே என் நாமத்தை விளங்கப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லிக் குறித்த கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலே அவன் பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டி, And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

5 கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் இரண்டு பிராகாரங்களிலும் வானத்தின் சேனைகளுக்கெல்லாம் பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டி, And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

6 தன் குமாரனைத் தீமிதிக்கப்பண்ணி, நாள்பார்க்கிறவனும் நிமித்தம்பார்க்கிறவனுமாயிருந்து, அஞ்சனம் பார்க்கிறவர்களையும் குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களையும் வைத்து, கர்த்தருக்கு கோபமுண்டாக அவர் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதை மிகுதியாய்ச் செய்தான். And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

7 இந்த ஆலயத்திலும், நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் சகல கோத்திரங்களிலுமிருந்து தெரிந்துகொண்ட எருசலேமிலும், என் நாமத்தை என்றைக்கும் விளங்கப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் தாவீதோடும் அவன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனோடும் சொல்லிக் குறித்த ஆலயத்திலே அவன் பண்ணின தோப்புவிக்கிரகத்தை வைத்தான். And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

8 நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்த எல்லாவற்றின்படியேயும், என் தாசனாகிய மோசே அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்த எல்லா நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்படியேயும் செய்ய ஜாக்கிரதையாய் இருந்தார்களேயானால், நான் இனி இஸ்ரவேலின் காலை அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தைவிட்டு அலையப்பண்ணுவதில்லை என்று சொல்லியிருந்தார். Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

9 ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் கேளாதேபோனார்கள்; கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு முன்பாக அழித்த ஜாதிகள் செய்த பொல்லாப்பைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்ச் செய்ய மனாசே அவர்களை ஏவிவிட்டான். But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

10 ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளாகிய தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரைக் கொண்டு உரைத்தது: And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

11 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய மனாசே தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த எமோரியர் செய்த எல்லாவற்றைப்பார்க்கிலும் கேடாக இந்த அருவருப்புகளைச் செய்து, தன் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களால் யூதாவையும் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணினபடியினால், Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

12 இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, கேட்கப்போகிற யாவருடைய இரண்டு காதுகளிலும் அது தொனித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்படியான பொல்லாப்பை நான் எருசலேமின்மேலும் யூதாவின்மேலும் வரப்பண்ணி, Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

13 எருசலேமின்மேல் சமாரியாவின் மட்டநூலையும் ஆகாப் வீட்டின் தூக்கு நூலையும் பிடிப்பேன்; ஒருவன் ஒரு தாலத்தைத் துடைத்துப் பின்பு அதைக் கவிழ்த்துவைக்கிறதுபோல எருசலேமைத் துடைத்துவிடுவேன். And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

14 அவர்கள் தங்கள் பிதாக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாள்முதற்கொண்டு இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் என் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, எனக்குக் கோபம் மூட்டிவந்தபடியினால், என் சுதந்தரத்தின் மீதியானதைக் கைவிட்டு, அவர்கள் பகைஞரின் கையில் அவர்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன். And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

15 தங்கள் பகைஞருக்கெல்லாம் கொள்ளையும் சூறையுமாய்ப் போவார்கள் என்றார். Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

16 கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்யும்படியாக, மனாசே யூதாவைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணின அந்தப் பாவமும் தவிர, அவன் எருசலேமை நாலு மூலைவரையும் இரத்தப்பழிகளால் நிரப்பத்தக்கதாய், குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தையும் மிகுதியாகச் சிந்தினான். Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

18 மனாசே தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், அவன் ஊசாவின் தோட்டமாகிய தன் அரமனைத் தோட்டத்தில் அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டான்; அவன் ஸ்தானத்திலே அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஆமோன் ராஜாவானான். And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

19 ஆமோன் ராஜாவானபோது இருபத்திரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, இரண்டு வருஷம் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டான்; யோத்பா ஊரானாகிய ஆரூத்சின் குமாரத்தியான அவன் தாயின் பேர் மெசுல்லேமேத். Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

20 அவன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய மனாசே செய்ததுபோல, கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

21 தன் தகப்பன் நடந்த எல்லா வழியிலும் நடந்து, தன் தகப்பன் சேவித்த நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களைச் சேவித்து அவைகளைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

22 கர்த்தரின் வழியிலே நடவாமல், தன் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை விட்டு விட்டான். And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

23 ஆமோனின் ஊழியக்காரர் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கட்டுப்பாடு பண்ணி, ராஜாவை அவன் அரமனையிலே கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள். And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.

24 அதினால் தேசத்து ஜனங்கள் ராஜாவாகிய ஆமோனுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணினவர்களையெல்லாம் வெட்டிப்போட்டு, அவன் குமாரனாகிய யோசியாவை அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள். And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

25 ஆமோன் செய்த மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்கள் யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது. Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

2 Karththar Israel puththirarukku munpaakath thuraththina jaathikalutaiya aruvaruppukalinpatiyae, avan karththarin paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythu, And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

3 Than thakappanaakiya esekkiyaa itiththuppotta maetaikalaith thirumpavum katti, paakaalukkup palipeedangalai eduppiththu, isravaelin raajaavaakiya aakaap seythathupola vikkirakaththoppai unndaakki, vaanaththin senaikalaiyellaam panninthukonndu avaikalaich seviththaan. 4 Erusalaemilae en naamaththai vilangappannnuvaen entu Karththar sollik kuriththa karththarutaiya aalayaththilae avan palipeedangalaik katti, And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

5 Karththarutaiya aalayaththin iranndu piraakaarangalilum vaanaththin senaikalukkellaam palipeedangalaik katti, And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

6 Than kumaaranaith theemithikkappannnni, naalpaarkkiravanum nimiththampaarkkiravanumaayirunthu, anjanam paarkkiravarkalaiyum kurisollukiravarkalaiyum vaiththu, karththarukku kopamunndaaka avar paarvaikkup pollaappaanathai mikuthiyaaych seythaan. 7 Intha aalayaththilum, naan isravaelin sakala koththirangalilumirunthu therinthukonnda erusalaemilum, en naamaththai entaikkum vilangappannnuvaen entu Karththar thaaveethodum avan kumaaranaakiya saalomonodum sollik kuriththa aalayaththilae avan pannnnina thoppuvikkirakaththai vaiththaan. And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

8 Naan avarkalukkuk karpiththa ellaavattinpatiyaeyum, en thaasanaakiya Moses avarkalukkuk karpiththa ellaa niyaayappiramaanaththinpatiyaeyum seyya jaakkirathaiyaay irunthaarkalaeyaanaal, naan ini isravaelin kaalai avarkal pithaakkalukkuk koduththa thaesaththaivittu alaiyappannnuvathillai entu solliyirunthaar. 10 Aakaiyaal Karththar theerkkatharisikalaakiya thammutaiya ooliyakkaararaik konndu uraiththathu: And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

11 Yoothaavin raajaavaakiya manaase thanakku munniruntha emoriyar seytha ellaavattaைppaarkkilum kaedaaka intha aruvaruppukalaich seythu, than narakalaana vikkirakangalaal yoothaavaiyum paavanjaெyyappannnninapatiyinaal, Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

12 Isravaelin thaevanaakiya Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: itho, kaetkappokira yaavarutaiya iranndu kaathukalilum athu thoniththukkonntirukkumpatiyaana pollaappai naan erusalaeminmaelum yoothaavinmaelum varappannnni, Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

13 Erusalaeminmael samaariyaavin mattanoolaiyum aakaap veettin thookku noolaiyum pitippaen; oruvan oru thaalaththaith thutaiththup pinpu athaik kavilththuvaikkirathupola erusalaemaith thutaiththuviduvaen. And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

14 Avarkal thangal pithaakkal ekipthilirunthu purappatta naalmutharkonndu innaalvaraikkum en paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythu, enakkuk kopam moottivanthapatiyinaal, en suthantharaththin meethiyaanathaik kaivittu, avarkal pakainjarin kaiyil avarkalai oppukkoduppaen. And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

15 Thangal pakainjarukkellaam kollaiyum sooraiyumaayp povaarkal entar. Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

16 Karththarin paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seyyumpatiyaaka, manaase yoothaavaip paavanjaெyyappannnnina anthap paavamum thavira, avan erusalaemai naalu moolaivaraiyum iraththappalikalaal nirappaththakkathaay, kuttamillaatha iraththaththaiyum mikuthiyaakach sinthinaan. Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

17 Manaaseyin matta varththamaanangalum, avan seythavai yaavum, avan seytha paavamum yoothaavutaiya raajaakkalin naalaakamap pusthakaththil allavo eluthiyirukkirathu. Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

18 Manaase than pithaakkalotae niththiraiyatainthapin, avan oosaavin thottamaakiya than aramanaith thottaththil adakkampannnappattan; avan sthaanaththilae avan kumaaranaakiya aamon raajaavaanaan. And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

19 Aamon raajaavaanapothu irupaththiranndu vayathaayirunthu, iranndu varusham erusalaemil arasaanndaan; yothpaa ooraanaakiya aaroothsin kumaaraththiyaana avan thaayin paer mesullaemaeth. Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

20 Avan than thakappanaakiya manaase seythathupola, karththarin paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythu, And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

21 Than thakappan nadantha ellaa valiyilum nadanthu, than thakappan seviththa narakalaana vikkirakangalaich seviththu avaikalaip panninthukonndu, And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

22 Karththarin valiyilae nadavaamal, than pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya karththarai vittu vittan. And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

23 Aamonin ooliyakkaarar avanukku virothamaayk kattuppaadu pannnni, raajaavai avan aramanaiyilae kontupottarkal. And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.

24 Athinaal thaesaththu janangal raajaavaakiya aamonukku virothamaayk kattuppaadupannnninavarkalaiyellaam vettippottu, avan kumaaranaakiya yosiyaavai avan sthaanaththil raajaavaakkinaarkal. And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

25 Aamon seytha matta varththamaanangal yoothaavutaiya raajaakkalin naalaakamap pusthakaththil allavo eluthiyirukkirathu. Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

26 Avan oosaavin thottaththilulla avanutaiya kallaraiyil adakkam pannnappattan; avan sthaanaththilae avan kumaaranaakiya yosiyaa raajaavaanaan. And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
