அக்காலத்திலே நான் உங்களை நோக்கி: உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு இந்த தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தார்; யுத்தஞ்செய்யத்தக்கவர்களாகிய நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரான உங்கள் சகோதரருக்கு முன்னே ஆயுதபாணிகளாக நடந்து போங்கள்.

And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.
