அப்பொழுது அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே, இந்த எலும்புகள் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் அனைவருமே; இதோ, அவர்கள் எங்கள் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று; எங்கள் நம்பிக்கை அற்றுப்போயிற்று; நாங்கள் அறுப்புண்டுபோகிறோம் என்கிறார்கள்.

பிறகு, எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் என்னிடம் கூறினார்: “மனுபுத்திரனே, இவ்வெலும்புகள் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் அனைவருமே, இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் சொல்கிறார்கள்: ‘எங்கள் எலும்புகள் காய்ந்துவிட்டன. எங்கள் நம்பிக்கை போய்விட்டது. நாங்கள் முழுமையாக அழிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்!’

me, Son בֶּן bēn bane
of man, אָדָ֕ם ʾādām ah-DAHM
bones הָעֲצָמ֣וֹת ʿeṣem eh-TSEM
these הָאֵ֔לֶּה ʾēlle ay-LEH
are the whole כָּל kōl kole
house בֵּ֥ית bayit ba-YEET
of Israel: יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
הֵ֑מָּה hēm hame
behold, הִנֵּ֣ה hinnē hee-NAY
they say, אֹמְרִ֗ים ʾāmar ah-MAHR
are dried, יָבְשׁ֧וּ yābēš ya-VAYSH
Our bones עַצְמוֹתֵ֛ינוּ ʿeṣem eh-TSEM
is lost: וְאָבְדָ֥ה ʾābad ah-VAHD
and our hope תִקְוָתֵ֖נוּ tiqwâ teek-VA
we are cut off for our parts. נִגְזַ֥רְנוּ gāzar ɡa-ZAHR
