Leviticus 26 in Tamil

1 நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கு விக்கிரகங்களையும் சுரூபங்களையும் உண்டாக்காமலும், உங்களுக்குச் சிலையை நிறுத்தாமலும், சித்திரந்தீர்ந்த கல்லை நமஸ்கரிக்கும்பொருட்டு உங்கள் தேசத்தில் வைக்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

2 என் ஓய்வுநாட்களை ஆசரித்து, என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைக்குறித்துப் பயபக்தியாயிருப்பீர்களாக; நான் கர்த்தர். Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

3 நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளின்படி நடந்து, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்தால், If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

4 நான் ஏற்ற காலத்தில் உங்களுக்கு மழைபெய்யப்பண்ணுவேன்; பூமி தன் பலனையும், வெளியிலுள்ள மரங்கள் தங்கள் கனியையும் கொடுக்கும். Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

5 திராட்சப்பழம் பறிக்குங்காலம்வரைக்கும் போரடிப்புக்காலம் இருக்கும்; விதைப்புக்காலம் வரைக்கும் திராட்சப்பழம் பறிக்குங்காலம் இருக்கும்; நீங்கள் உங்கள் அப்பத்தைத் திருப்தியாகச் சாப்பிட்டு, உங்கள் தேசத்தில் சுகமாய்க் குடியிருப்பீர்கள். And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

6 தேசத்தில் சமாதானம் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; தத்தளிக்கப்பண்ணுவார் இல்லாமல் படுத்துக்கொள்வீர்கள்; துஷ்ட மிருகங்களைத் தேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; பட்டயம் உங்கள் தேசத்தில் உலாவுவதில்லை. And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

7 உங்கள் சத்துருக்களைத் துரத்துவீர்கள்; அவர்கள் உங்கள் முன்பாகப் பட்டயத்தால் விழுவார்கள். And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

8 உங்களில் ஐந்துபேர் நூறுபேரைத்துரத்துவார்கள்; உங்களில் நூறுபேர் பதினாயிரம்பேரைத் துரத்துவார்கள்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்கள் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பட்டயத்தால் விழுவார்கள். And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

9 நான் உங்கள்மேல் கண்ணோக்கமாயிருந்து, உங்களைப் பலுகவும் பெருகவும்பண்ணி, உங்களோடே என் உடன்படிக்கையைத் திடப்படுத்துவேன். For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

10 போனவருஷத்துப் பழைய தானியத்தைச் சாப்பிட்டு, புதிய தானியத்துக்கு இடமுண்டாகும்படி, பழையதை விலக்குவீர்கள். And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

11 உங்கள் நடுவில் என் வாசஸ்தலத்தை ஸ்தாபிப்பேன்; என் ஆத்துமா உங்களை அரோசிப்பதில்லை. And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

12 நான் உங்கள் நடுவிலே உலாவி, உங்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், நீங்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பீர்கள். And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

13 நீங்கள் எகிப்தியருக்கு அடிமைகளாயிராதபடிக்கு, நான் அவர்கள் தேசத்திலிருந்து உங்களைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் நுகத்தடிகளை முறித்து, உங்களை நிமிர்ந்து நடக்கப்பண்ணின உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

14 நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடாமலும், இந்தக் கற்பனைகள் எல்லாவற்றின்படி செய்யாமலும், But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17 நான் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக என் முகத்தைத் திருப்புவேன்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்களுக்கு முன்பாக முறிய அடிக்கப்படுவீர்கள்; உங்கள் பகைஞர் உங்களை ஆளுவார்கள்; துரத்துவார் இல்லாதிருந்தும் ஓடுவீர்கள். And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

18 இவ்விதமாய் நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்தும், இன்னும் நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடாதிருந்தால், உங்கள் பாவங்களினிமித்தம் பின்னும் ஏழத்தனையாக உங்களைத் தண்டித்து, And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

19 உங்கள் வல்லமையின் பெருமையை முறித்து, உங்கள் வானத்தை இரும்பைப்போலவும், உங்கள் பூமியை வெண்கலத்தைப்போலவும் ஆக்குவேன். And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

20 உங்கள் பெலன் விருதாவிலே செலவழியும்; உங்கள் தேசம் தன் பலனையும், தேசத்தின் மரங்கள் தங்கள் கனிகளையும் கொடுக்கமாட்டாது. And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

21 நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுக்க மனதில்லாமல், எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடப்பீர்களானால், நான் உங்கள் பாவங்களுக்குத் தக்கதாக இன்னும் ஏழத்தனை வாதையை உங்கள்மேல் வரப்பண்ணி, And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

22 உங்களுக்குள்ளே வெளியின் துஷ்டமிருகங்களை வரவிடுவேன்; அவைகள் உங்களைப் பிள்ளைகளற்றவர்களாக்கி, உங்கள் மிருக ஜீவன்களை அழித்து, உங்களைக் குறைந்துபோகப்பண்ணும், உங்கள் வழிகள் பாழாய்க்கிடக்கும். I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

23 நான் செய்யும் தண்டனையினால் நீங்கள் குணப்படாமல், எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்தால், And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

24 நான் உங்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்து, உங்கள் பாவத்தினிமித்தம் ஏழத்தனையாக வாதித்து, Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

25 என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறினதற்குப் பழிவாங்கும் பட்டயத்தை உங்கள்மேல் வரப்பண்ணி, நீங்கள் உங்கள் பட்டணங்களில் சேர்ந்தபின், கொள்ளைநோயை உங்கள் நடுவிலே அனுப்புவேன்; சத்துருவின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவீர்கள். And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

26 உங்கள் அப்பம் என்னும் ஆதரவுகோலை நான் முறித்துப்போடும்போது, பத்து ஸ்திரீகள் ஒரே அடுப்பில் உங்கள் அப்பத்தைச் சுட்டு, அதைத் திரும்ப உங்களுக்கு நிறுத்துக்கொடுப்பார்கள்; நீங்கள் சாப்பிட்டும் திருப்தியடையமாட்டீர்கள் And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

27 இன்னும் இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றாலும் நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடாமல், எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்தால், And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

28 நானும் உக்கிரத்தோடே உங்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்து, நானே உங்கள் பாவங்களினிமித்தம் உங்களை ஏழத்தனையாய்த் தண்டிப்பேன். Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

29 உங்கள் குமாரரின் மாம்சத்தையும் உங்கள் குமாரத்தியின் மாம்சத்தையும் புசிப்பீர்கள். And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

30 நான் உங்கள் மேடைகளை அழித்து, உங்கள் விக்கிரகச் சிலைகளை நிர்த்தூளியாக்கி, உங்கள் உடல்களை உங்கள் நரகலான தேவர்களுடைய உடல்கள்மேல் எறிவேன்; என் ஆத்துமா உங்களை அரோசிக்கும். And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

31 நான் உங்கள் பட்டணங்களை வெறுமையும், உங்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களைப் பாழுமாக்கி, உங்கள் சுகந்த வாசனையை முகராதிருப்பேன். And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.

32 நான் தேசத்தைப் பாழாக்குவேன்; அதிலே குடியிருக்கிற உங்கள் சத்துருக்கள் பிரமிப்பார்கள். And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

33 ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உங்களைச் சிதற அடித்து, உங்கள் பின்னாகப் பட்டயத்தை உருவுவேன்; உங்கள் தேசம் பாழும், உங்கள் பட்டணங்கள் வனாந்தரமுமாகும். And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

34 நீங்கள் உங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, தேசமானது பாழாய்க்கிடக்கிற நாளெல்லாம் தன் ஓய்வுநாட்களை இரம்மியமாய் அநுபவிக்கும்; அப்பொழுது தேசம் ஓய்வடைந்து, தன் ஓய்வுநாட்களை இரம்மியமாய் அநுபவிக்கும்; Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

35 நீங்கள் அதிலே குடியிருக்கும்போது, அது உங்கள் ஓய்வு வருஷங்களில் ஓய்வடையாதபடியினாலே, அது பாழாய்க்கிடக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் ஓய்வடைந்திருக்கும். As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

36 உங்களில் உயிரோடு மீதியாயிருப்பவர்களின் இருதயங்கள் தங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசங்களில் மனத்தளர்ச்சியடையும்படி செய்வேன்; அசைகிற இலையின் சத்தமும் அவர்களை ஓட்டும்; அவர்கள் பட்டயத்திற்குத் தப்பி ஓடுகிறதுபோல ஓடி, துரத்துவார் இல்லாமல் விழுவார்கள். And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

37 துரத்துவார் இல்லாமல், பட்டயத்துக்கு முன் விழுவதுபோல, ஒருவர்மேல் ஒருவர் இடறி விழுவார்கள்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்களுக்குமுன் நிற்க உங்களுக்குப் பெலன் இராது. And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

38 புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே அழிந்துபோவீர்கள்; உங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசம் உங்களைப் பட்சிக்கும். And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

39 உங்களில் தப்பினவர்கள் தங்கள் அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும், தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும், உங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசங்களில் வாடிப்போவார்கள். And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

40 அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் துரோகம்பண்ணி நடப்பித்த தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தையும், தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் அக்கிரமத்தையும் அறிக்கையிடுகிறதுமன்றி, If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

41 அவர்கள் எனக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்தபடியினால், நானும் அவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நடந்து, அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களின் தேசத்திலே அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோய்விட்டதையும் அறிக்கையிட்டு, விருத்தசேதனமில்லாத தங்கள் இருதயத்தைத் தாழ்த்தி, தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்துக்குக் கிடைத்த தண்டனையை நியாயம் என்று ஒத்துக்கொண்டால், And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

42 நான் யாக்கோபோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையையும், ஈசாக்கோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையையும், ஆபிரகாமோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையையும் நினைப்பேன்; தேசத்தையும் நினைப்பேன். Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

43 தேசம் அவர்களாலே விடப்பட்டு, பாழாய்க்கிடக்கிறதினாலே தன் ஓய்வுநாட்களை இரம்மியமாய் அநுபவிக்கும்; அவர்கள் என் நியாயங்களை அவமதித்து, அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா என் கட்டளைகளை வெறுத்தபடியினால் அடைந்த தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தின் தண்டனையை நியாயம் என்று ஒத்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள். The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

44 அவர்கள் தங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசத்திலிருந்தாலும், நான் அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கத்தக்கதாகவும், நான் அவர்களோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையை அபத்தமாக்கத்தக்கதாகவும், நான் அவர்களைக் கைவிடவும் வெறுக்கவுமாட்டேன்; நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.

45 அவர்களுடைய தேவனாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, நான் புறஜாதிகளின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து அவர்களைப் புறப்படச்செய்து, அவர்களுடைய முன்னோர்களோடே நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையை அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் நினைவுகூருவேன்; நான் கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார். But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

46 கர்த்தர் தமக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியாருக்கும் நடுவே இருக்கும்படி மோசேயைக்கொண்டு, சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் கொடுத்த கட்டளைகளும் நியாயங்களும் இவைகளே. These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

1 Neengal ungalukku vikkirakangalaiyum suroopangalaiyum unndaakkaamalum, ungalukkuch silaiyai niraுththaamalum, siththirantheerntha kallai namaskarikkumporuttu ungal thaesaththil vaikkaamalum iruppeerkalaaka; naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar. Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

2 En oyvunaatkalai aasariththu, en Parisuththa sthalaththaikkuriththup payapakthiyaayiruppeerkalaaka; naan Karththar. Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

3 Neengal en kattalaikalinpati nadanthu, en karpanaikalaik kaikkonndu, avaikalinpati seythaal, If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

4 Naan aetta kaalaththil ungalukku malaipeyyappannnuvaen; poomi than palanaiyum, veliyilulla marangal thangal kaniyaiyum kodukkum. Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

5 Thiraatchappalam parikkungaalamvaraikkum poratippukkaalam irukkum; vithaippukkaalam varaikkum thiraatchappalam parikkungaalam irukkum; neengal ungal appaththaith thirupthiyaakach saappittu, ungal thaesaththil sukamaayk kutiyiruppeerkal. And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

6 Thaesaththil samaathaanam kattalaiyiduvaen; thaththalikkappannnuvaar illaamal paduththukkolveerkal; thushda mirukangalaith thaesaththil iraathapatikku oliyappannnuvaen; pattayam ungal thaesaththil ulaavuvathillai. And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

7 Ungal saththurukkalaith thuraththuveerkal; avarkal ungal munpaakap pattayaththaal viluvaarkal. And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

8 Ungalil ainthupaer nooraுpaeraiththuraththuvaarkal; ungalil nooraுpaer pathinaayirampaeraith thuraththuvaarkal; ungal saththurukkal ungalukku munpaakap pattayaththaal viluvaarkal. And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

9 Naan ungalmael kannnnokkamaayirunthu, ungalaip palukavum perukavumpannnni, ungalotae en udanpatikkaiyaith thidappaduththuvaen. For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

10 Ponavarushaththup palaiya thaaniyaththaich saappittu, puthiya thaaniyaththukku idamunndaakumpati, palaiyathai vilakkuveerkal. And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

11 Ungal naduvil en vaasasthalaththai sthaapippaen; en aaththumaa ungalai arosippathillai. And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

12 Naan ungal naduvilae ulaavi, ungal thaevanaayiruppaen, neengal en janamaayiruppeerkal. And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

13 Neengal ekipthiyarukku atimaikalaayiraathapatikku, naan avarkal thaesaththilirunthu ungalaip purappadappannnni, ungal nukaththatikalai muriththu, ungalai nimirnthu nadakkappannnnina ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar. I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

14 Neengal enakkuch sevikodaamalum, inthak karpanaikal ellaavattinpati seyyaamalum, But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

15 En kattalaikalai veraுththu, ungal aaththumaa en niyaayangalai arosiththu, en karpanaikal ellaavattinpatiyum seyyaathapatikku, en udanpatikkaiyai neengal meerippoduveerkalaakil: And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

16 Naan ungalukkuch seyvathu ennavental, kannkalaip pooththuppokappannnukiratharkum, iruthayaththaith thuyarappaduththukiratharkum, thikilaiyum eelaiyaiyum kaaychchalaiyum ungalukku varappannnuvaen; neengal vithaikkum vithai viruthaavaayirukkum; ungal saththurukkal athin palanaith thinpaarkal. I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17 Naan ungalukku virothamaaka en mukaththaith thiruppuvaen; ungal saththurukkalukku munpaaka muriya atikkappaduveerkal; ungal pakainjar ungalai aaluvaarkal; thuraththuvaar illaathirunthum oduveerkal. And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

18 Ivvithamaay naan ungalukkuch seythum, innum neengal enakkuch sevikodaathirunthaal, ungal paavangalinimiththam pinnum aelaththanaiyaaka ungalaith thanntiththu, And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

19 Ungal vallamaiyin perumaiyai muriththu, ungal vaanaththai irumpaippolavum, ungal poomiyai vennkalaththaippolavum aakkuvaen. And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

20 Ungal pelan viruthaavilae selavaliyum; ungal thaesam than palanaiyum, thaesaththin marangal thangal kanikalaiyum kodukkamaattathu. And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

22 Ungalukkullae veliyin thushdamirukangalai varaviduvaen; avaikal ungalaip pillaikalattavarkalaakki, ungal miruka jeevankalai aliththu, ungalaik kurainthupokappannnum, ungal valikal paalaaykkidakkum. I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

23 Naan seyyum thanndanaiyinaal neengal kunappadaamal, enakku ethirththu nadanthaal, And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

24 Naan ungalukku ethirththu nadanthu, ungal paavaththinimiththam aelaththanaiyaaka vaathiththu, Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

25 En udanpatikkaiyai meerinatharkup palivaangum pattayaththai ungalmael varappannnni, neengal ungal pattanangalil sernthapin, kollaiNnoyai ungal naduvilae anuppuvaen; saththuruvin kaiyil oppukkodukkappaduveerkal. And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

26 Ungal appam ennum aatharavukolai naan muriththuppodumpothu, paththu sthireekal orae aduppil ungal appaththaich suttu, athaith thirumpa ungalukku niraுththukkoduppaarkal; neengal saappittum thirupthiyataiyamaattirkal And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

27 Innum ivaikal ellaavattaாlum neengal enakkuch sevikodaamal, enakku ethirththu nadanthaal, And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

28 Naanum ukkiraththotae ungalukku ethirththu nadanthu, naanae ungal paavangalinimiththam ungalai aelaththanaiyaayth thanntippaen. Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

29 Ungal kumaararin maamsaththaiyum ungal kumaaraththiyin maamsaththaiyum pusippeerkal. And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

30 Naan ungal maetaikalai aliththu, ungal vikkirakach silaikalai nirththooliyaakki, ungal udalkalai ungal narakalaana thaevarkalutaiya udalkalmael erivaen; en aaththumaa ungalai arosikkum. And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

31 Naan ungal pattanangalai veraுmaiyum, ungal Parisuththa sthalangalaip paalumaakki, ungal sukantha vaasanaiyai mukaraathiruppaen. And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.

32 Naan thaesaththaip paalaakkuvaen; athilae kutiyirukkira ungal saththurukkal piramippaarkal. And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

33 Jaathikalukkullae ungalaich sithara atiththu, ungal pinnaakap pattayaththai uruvuvaen; ungal thaesam paalum, ungal pattanangal vanaantharamumaakum. And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

34 Neengal ungal saththurukkalin thaesaththil irukkumpothu, thaesamaanathu paalaaykkidakkira naalellaam than oyvunaatkalai irammiyamaay anupavikkum; appoluthu thaesam oyvatainthu, than oyvunaatkalai irammiyamaay anupavikkum; Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

35 Neengal athilae kutiyirukkumpothu, athu ungal oyvu varushangalil oyvataiyaathapatiyinaalae, athu paalaaykkidakkum naalellaam oyvatainthirukkum. As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

36 Ungalil uyirodu meethiyaayiruppavarkalin iruthayangal thangal saththurukkalin thaesangalil manaththalarchchiyataiyumpati seyvaen; asaikira ilaiyin saththamum avarkalai ottum; avarkal pattayaththirkuth thappi odukirathupola oti, thuraththuvaar illaamal viluvaarkal. And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

37 Thuraththuvaar illaamal, pattayaththukku mun viluvathupola, oruvarmael oruvar idari viluvaarkal; ungal saththurukkalukkumun nirka ungalukkup pelan iraathu. And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

38 Purajaathikalukkullae alinthupoveerkal; ungal saththurukkalin thaesam ungalaip patchikkum. And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

39 Ungalil thappinavarkal thangal akkiramangalinimiththamum, thangal pithaakkalin akkiramangalinimiththamum, ungal saththurukkalin thaesangalil vaatippovaarkal. And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

40 Avarkal enakku virothamaakath thurokampannnni nadappiththa thangal akkiramaththaiyum, thangal pithaakkalin akkiramaththaiyum arikkaiyidukirathumanti, If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

41 Avarkal enakku ethirththu nadanthapatiyinaal, naanum avarkalukku ethirththu nadanthu, avarkalutaiya saththurukkalin thaesaththilae avarkalaik konndupoyvittathaiyum arikkaiyittu, viruththasethanamillaatha thangal iruthayaththaith thaalththi, thangal akkiramaththukkuk kitaiththa thanndanaiyai niyaayam entu oththukkonndaal, And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

42 Naan yaakkopotae pannnnina en udanpatikkaiyaiyum, eesaakkotae pannnnina en udanpatikkaiyaiyum, aapirakaamotae pannnnina en udanpatikkaiyaiyum ninaippaen; thaesaththaiyum ninaippaen. Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

43 Thaesam avarkalaalae vidappattu, paalaaykkidakkirathinaalae than oyvunaatkalai irammiyamaay anupavikkum; avarkal en niyaayangalai avamathiththu, avarkalutaiya aaththumaa en kattalaikalai veraுththapatiyinaal ataintha thangalutaiya akkiramaththin thanndanaiyai niyaayam entu oththukkolluvaarkal. The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

44 Avarkal thangal saththurukkalin thaesaththilirunthaalum, naan avarkalai nirmoolamaakkaththakkathaakavum, naan avarkalotae pannnnina en udanpatikkaiyai apaththamaakkaththakkathaakavum, naan avarkalaik kaividavum veraுkkavumaattaேn; naan avarkal thaevanaakiya Karththar. And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.

45 Avarkalutaiya thaevanaayirukkumpatikku, naan purajaathikalin kannkalukku munpaaka ekipthu thaesaththilirunthu avarkalaip purappadachcheythu, avarkalutaiya munnorkalotae naan pannnnina udanpatikkaiyai avarkal nimiththam ninaivukooruvaen; naan Karththar entu sol entar. But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

46 Karththar thamakkum Israel santhathiyaarukkum naduvae irukkumpati Mosesyaikkonndu, seenaaymalaiyinmael koduththa kattalaikalum niyaayangalum ivaikalae. These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
