1 அந்த வாதை தீர்ந்தபின்பு, கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனின் குமாரனும் ஆசாரியனுமாகிய எலெயாசாரையும் நோக்கி: And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,

2 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சமஸ்த சபையாரையும் அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படி இருபது வயதுமுதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேலிலே யுத்ததிற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்கவர்கள் எல்லாரையும் எண்ணுங்கள் என்றார். Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.

27 இவைகளே செபுலோனியரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் அறுபதினாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர். These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, threescore thousand and five hundred.

28 யோசேப்புடைய குமாரரான மனாசே எப்பிராயீம் என்பவர்களின் குடும்பங்களாவன: The sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.

29 மனாசேயினுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்கள்: மாகீரின் சந்ததியான மாகீரியரின் குடும்பமும், மாகீர் பெற்ற கிலெயாதின் சந்ததியான கிலெயாதியரின் குடும்பமும், Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead: of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.

30 கிலெயாத் பெற்ற ஈயேசேரின் சந்ததியான ஈயேசேயரின் குடும்பமும், ஏலேக்கின் சந்ததியான ஏலேக்கியரின் குடும்பமும், These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:

31 அஸ்ரியேலின் சந்ததியான அஸ்ரியேலரின் குடும்பமும், சேகேமின் சந்ததியான சேகேமியரின் குடும்பமும், And of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites: and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites:

32 செமீதாவின் சந்ததியான செமீதாவியரின் குடும்பமும், ஏப்பேரின் சந்ததியான ஏப்பேரியரின் குடும்பமுமே. And of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites: and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

35 எப்பிராயீமுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: சுத்தெலாகின் சந்ததியான சுத்தெலாகியரின் குடும்பமும், பெகேரின் சந்ததியான பெகேரியரின் குடும்பமும், தாகானின் சந்ததியான தாகானியரின் குடும்பமும், These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

36 சுத்தெலாக் பெற்ற ஏரானின் சந்ததியான ஏரானியரின் குடும்பமுமே. And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.

37 இவைகளே எப்பிராயீம் புத்திரரின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் முப்பத்தீராயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்; இவர்களே யோசேப்பு புத்திரரின் குடும்பங்கள். These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.

38 பென்யமீனுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: பேலாவின் சந்ததியான பேலாவியரின் குடும்பமும், அஸ்பேலின் சந்ததியான அஸ்பேலியரின் குடும்பமும், அகிராமின் சந்ததியான அகிராமியரின் குடும்பமும், The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:

39 சுப்பாமின் சந்ததியான சுப்பாமியரின் குடும்பமும், உப்பாமின் சந்ததியான உப்பாமியரின் குடும்பமும், Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites: of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

42 தாணுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: சூகாமின் சந்ததியான சூகாமியரின் குடும்பமுமே; இவைகள் தாணின் குடும்பம். These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.

43 சூகாமியரின் வம்சங்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லோரும் அறுபத்து நாலாயிரத்து நானூறு பேர். All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.

45 பெரீயா பெற்ற ஏபேரின் சந்ததியான ஏபேரியரின் குடும்பமும், மல்கியேலின் சந்ததியான மல்கியேலியரின் குடும்பமுமே, Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.

48 நப்தலியினுடைய குமாரரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: யாத்சியேலின் சந்ததியான யாத்சியேலியரின் குடும்பமும், கூனியின் சந்ததியான கூனியரின் குடும்பமும், Of the sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites: of Guni, the family of the Gunites:

49 எத்செரின் சந்ததியான எத்செரியரின் குடும்பமும், சில்லேமின் சந்ததியான சில்லேமியரின் குடும்பமுமே. Of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites: of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

50 இவைகளே நப்தலியின் குடும்பங்கள்; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் நாற்பத்தையாயிரத்து நானூறு பேர். These are the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.

51 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் ஆறுலட்சத்தோராயிரத்து எழுநூற்று முப்பதுபேராயிருந்தார்கள். These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.

52 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

53 இவர்களுடைய பேர்களின் இலக்கத்திற்குத்தக்கதாய் தேசம் இவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகப் பங்கிடப்படவேண்டும். Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.

54 அநேகம்பேருக்கு அதிக சுதந்திரமும் கொஞ்சம்பேருக்கு கொஞ்ச சுதந்தரமும் கொடுப்பாயாக; அவர்களில் எண்ணப்பட்ட இலக்கத்திற்குத் தக்கதாக அவரவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்திரம் கொடுக்கப்படவேண்டும். To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.

55 ஆனாலும் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, தேசத்தைப் பங்கிடவேண்டும்; தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரங்களுக்குரிய நாமங்களின்படியே சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளக்கடவர்கள். Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.

56 அநேகம்பேர்களாயினும் கொஞ்சம்பேர்களாயினும் சீட்டு விழுந்தபடியே அவரவர்களுடைய சுதந்தரங்கள் பங்கிடப்படவேண்டும் என்றார். According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.

57 எண்ணப்பட்ட லேவியரின் குடும்பங்களாவன: கெர்சோனின் சந்ததியான கெர்சோனியரின் குடும்பமும், கோகாத்தின் சந்ததியான கோகாத்தியரின் குடும்பமும், மெராரியின் சந்ததியான மெராரியரின் குடும்பமும்; And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

58 லேவியின் மற்றக் குடும்பங்களாகிய லிப்னீயரின் குடும்பமும், எப்ரோனியரின் குடும்பமும், மகலியரின் குடும்பமும், மூசியரின் குடும்பமும், கோராகியரின் குடும்பமுமே. கோகாத் அம்ராமைப் பெற்றான். And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

60 ஆரோனுக்கு நாதாபும் அபியூவும் எலெயாசாரும் இத்தாமாரும் பிறந்தார்கள். And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

61 நாதாபும் அபியூவும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அந்நிய அக்கினியைக் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, செத்துப்போனார்கள். And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.

And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.

3 Appoluthu Mosesyum aasaariyanaakiya eleyaasaarum erikovin arukae irukkum yorthaanukku ippaalae movaapin samanaana velikalilae avarkalotae paesi: And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

4 Karththar Moseskkum ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappatta Israel puththirarukkum kattalaiyittirukkirapatiyae, irupathu vayathumutharkonntirukkiravarkalai ennnungal entarkal. Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.

5 Roopan isravaelin mooththa kumaaran; roopanutaiya kumaarar, aanaakkiyar kudumpaththukkuth thakappanaana aanokkum, palluூviyar kudumpaththukkuth thakappanaana palluூvum, Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:

6 Esroniyar kudumpaththukkuth thakappanaana esronum, karmeeyar kudumpaththukkuth thakappanaana karmeeyumae. Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

7 Ivaikalae roopaniyarin kudumpangal; avarkalil ennnappattavarkal naarpaththu moovaayiraththu elunoottaு muppathupaer. These are the families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.

8 Palluூvin kumaaran eliyaap. And the sons of Pallu; Eliab.

9 Eliyaapin kumaarar naemuvael, thaaththaan, apiraam enpavarkal; inthath thaaththaan apiraam enpavarkalae Sabaiyil paerpettavarkalaayirunthu, karththarukku virothamaakap poraattam pannnni, koraakin koottalikalaaki, Moseskkum aaronukkum virothamaaka vivaathampannnninavarkal.
