Psalm 141 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன், என்னிடத்திற்கு வரத்தீவிரியும்; நான் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகையில், என் சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடும். Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

2 என் விண்ணப்பம் உமக்கு முன்பாகத் தூபமாகவும் என் கையெடுப்பு அந்திப்பலியாகவும் இருக்கக்கடவது. Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

3 கர்த்தாவே, என் வாய்க்குக் காவல் வையும்; என் உதடுகளின் வாசலைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும். Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

4 அக்கிரமஞ்செய்கிற மனுஷரோடே ஆகாமியக் கிரியைகளை நடப்பிக்கும்படி என் இருதயத்தைத் துன்மார்க்கத்திற்கு இணங்கவொட்டாதேயும்; அவர்களுடைய ருசியுள்ள பதார்த்தங்களில் ஒன்றையும் நான் சாப்பிடாமல் இருப்பேனாக. Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

5 நீதிமான் என்னைத் தயவாய்க்குட்டி, என்னைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளட்டும்; அது என் தலைக்கு எண்ணெயைப்போலிருக்கும்; என் தலை அதை அல்லத் தட்டுவதில்லை; அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளில் நான் இன்னும் ஜெபம்பண்ணுவேன். Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

6 அவர்களுடைய நியாயாதிபதிகள் கன்மலைச் சார்புகளிலிருந்து தள்ளுண்டுபோகிறபோது, என் வார்த்தைகள் இன்பமானவைகளென்று கேட்பார்கள். When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

7 பூமியின்மேல் ஒருவன் மரத்தை வெட்டிப் பிளக்கிறதுபோல, எங்கள் எலும்புகள் பாதாள வாய்க்கு நேராய்ச் சிதறடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

8 ஆனாலும் ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தாவே, என் கண்கள் உம்மை நோக்கியிருக்கிறது; உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; என் ஆத்துமாவை வெறுமையாக விடாதேயும். But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

9 அவர்கள் எனக்கு வைத்த கண்ணியின் சிக்குகளுக்கும், அக்கிரமக்காரரின் சுருக்குகளுக்கும் என்னை விலக்கி இரட்சியும். Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

10 துன்மார்க்கர் தங்கள் வலைகளில் அகப்படுவார்களாக; நானோ அதற்குத் தப்பிக் கடந்துபோவேன். Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

1 Karththaavae, ummai Nnokkik kooppidukiraேn, ennidaththirku varaththeeviriyum; naan ummai Nnokkik kooppidukaiyil, en saththaththirkuch sevikodum. Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

2 En vinnnappam umakku munpaakath thoopamaakavum en kaiyeduppu anthippaliyaakavum irukkakkadavathu. Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

3 Karththaavae, en vaaykkuk kaaval vaiyum; en uthadukalin vaasalaik kaaththukkollum. Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

4 Akkiramanjaெykira manusharotae aakaamiyak kiriyaikalai nadappikkumpati en iruthayaththaith thunmaarkkaththirku inangavottathaeyum; avarkalutaiya rusiyulla pathaarththangalil ontaiyum naan saappidaamal iruppaenaaka. 5 Neethimaan ennaith thayavaaykkutti, ennaik katinthukollattum; athu en thalaikku ennnneyaippolirukkum; en thalai athai allath thattuvathillai; avarkal ikkattukalil naan innum Jebampannnuvaen. 7 Poomiyinmael oruvan maraththai vettip pilakkirathupola, engal elumpukal paathaala vaaykku naeraaych sitharatikkappattirukkirathu. Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

8 Aanaalum aanndavaraakiya karththaavae, en kannkal ummai Nnokkiyirukkirathu; ummai nampiyirukkiraேn; en aaththumaavai veraுmaiyaaka vidaathaeyum. But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

9 Avarkal enakku vaiththa kannnniyin sikkukalukkum, akkiramakkaararin surukkukalukkum ennai vilakki iratchiyum. Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

10 Thunmaarkkar thangal valaikalil akappaduvaarkalaaka; naano atharkuth thappik kadanthupovaen. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
