24 வழியிலே தங்கும் இடத்தில் கர்த்தர் அவனுக்கு எதிர்ப்பட்டு, அவனைக் கொல்லப்பார்த்தார்.
25 அப்பொழுது சிப்போராள் கருக்கான ஒரு கல்லை எடுத்து, தன் புத்திரனுடைய நுனித்தோலை அறுத்து, அதை அவன் கால்களுக்கு முன்பாக எறிந்து: நீர் எனக்கு இரத்த சம்பந்தமான புருஷன் என்றாள்.
26 பின்பு அவர் அவனை விட்டு விலகினார். அப்பொழுது அவள்: விருத்த சேதனத்தினிமித்தம் நீர் எனக்கு இரத்த சம்பந்தமான புருஷன் என்றாள்.
24 And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to kill him.
25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
26 So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.
