Hosea 13:16 સમરૂને દેવની વિરૂદ્ધ બંડ કર્યું છે; માટે તેણે તેના અપરાધના ફળ ભોગવવા પડશે. તેના ઉપર આક્રમણ કરનાર સૈન્ય તેના લોકોનો સંહાર કરશે. તેમના બાળકોને ભોંયે પછાડીને મારી નાખવામાં આવશે અને તેમની ગર્ભવતી સ્ત્રીઓનાં પેટ ચીરી નાખવામાં આવશે. એ લોકો તરવારનો ભોગ બનશે.
