காலையிலே நீங்கள் கோத்திரம் கோத்திரமாய் வரவேண்டும்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் குறிக்கிற கோத்திரம் வம்சம் வம்சமாக வரவேண்டும்; கர்த்தர் குறிக்கிற வம்சம் குடும்பம் குடும்பமாக வரவேண்டும்; கர்த்தர் குறிக்கிற குடும்பம் பேர்பேராக வரவேண்டும் என்று சொல்.

“‘நானை காலையில் கர்த்தரின் முன்பாக எல்லோரும் வரவேண்டும். எல்லாக் கோத்திரத்தினரும் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பு நிற்கும்போது, கர்த்தர் ஒரு கோத்திரத்தாரைத் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பார். அப்போது அந்தக் கோத்திரத்தினர் கர்த்தரின் முன் நிற்கவேண்டும். கர்த்தர் அந்தக் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து ஒரு வம்சத்தை தேர்ந்தெடுப்பார். பின் அவ்வம்சத்திலிருந்து கர்த்தர் ஒரு குடும்பத்தைத் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பார். பின் கர்த்தர் அக்குடும்பத்தின் அங்கத்தினர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் பார்ப்பார்.
