ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് കുന്തവും ജലപാത്രവും ശൌലിന്റെ തലെക്കൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു അവർ പോകയും ചെയ്തു; ആരും കണ്ടില്ല, ആരും അറിഞ്ഞില്ല, ആരും ഉണർന്നതുമില്ല; അവർ എല്ലാവരും ഉറങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു; യഹോവയാൽ ഗാഢനിദ്ര അവരുടെമേൽ വീണിരുന്നു.
