അതുകൊണ്ടു, തന്റെ ജനത്തെ മേയിക്കുന്ന ഇടയന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു യസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തെ സൂക്ഷിക്കാതെ അവയെ ചിതറിച്ചുഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതാ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ദോഷത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങളോടു ചോദിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
