மத்தேயு 2:15
ஏரோதின் மரணபரியந்தம் அங்கே இருந்தான். எகிப்திலிருந்து என்னுடைய குமாரனை வரவழைத்தேன் என்று, தீர்க்கதரிசியின் மூலமாய்க் கர்த்தரால் உரைக்கப்பட்டது நிறைவேறும்படி இப்படி நடந்தது.

எட்டாம் நாளில் இரண்டு காட்டுப்புறாக்களையோ இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையோ ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் வாசலில் ஆசாரியனிடம் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்.

எட்டாவது நாள், நசரேய விரதம் கொள்ளும் அவன், இரண்டு புறாக்களையும் இரண்டு புறாக் குஞ்சுகளையும் ஆசாரியனிடம் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும். அவன் இவற்றை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் வாசலில் ஆசாரியனிடம் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.
